There are so many amazing places to travel, what's on your list for 2024?

So far we only have one trip planned for 2024, and that's a trip back to the Caribbean- a place we haven't been before. Any ideas where we're heading?

Not sure where to travel in 2024 yet? Here are some of the places we've been recently that we highly recommend visiting!

  • Fiji - Fiji was amazing! If you're on the west coast of the USA, it's really not that bad of a flight, as it's 11 hours nonstop from LAX. Fiji has over 330 islands, and the water is crystal clear, the people are so friendly, and the food was delicious! It's a great place for diving and snorkeling.
  • Alaska - Our cruise to Alaska was so beautiful! We'd love to go back and spend more time in some more remote areas, but the Alaskan landscape is truly breathtaking! Our favorite little town in Alaska (so far) is Skagway, it's got such an old-town vibe.
  • Southeast Asia - Now obviously this includes a lot of countries, but we have loved all every Southeast Asian country we've visited, which is Thailand, Laos, and now Vietnam. Southeast Asia has great food, friendly people, and everything is so cheap! We're so lucky that Tip is from Laos, and still has family there, because Laos is such a beautiful country!
  • Cook Islands - Honestly, it's been a while since we visited the Cook Islands, but we're dying to go back! Aitutaki is one of our favorite places in the world! Small, remote, private, beautiful waters - it's amazing! But what really stood out to us in the Cook Islands, are the people!
  • Antigua - Want to visit somewhere with a ton of gorgeous beaches? Well Antigua has 365 beaches to choose from! This island in the Caribbean, has some of the most beautiful waters we've ever seen!

What's on your list for 2024? Do you have anything planned or places that you're hopeful to visit next year?!

In October, we did something crazy! We trekked for 5 days and over 40 miles from Cusco, Peru to Machu Picchu! If you've never been to Peru, or never heard of this, the Salkantay trek is a popular trekking route that goes from the Andes Mountains to the Amazon jungle and ends at Machu Picchu, with elevation up to 15,000 feet! And we may have been a little crazy, because before that we had never done a backpacking trip, never hiked 40 miles in 5 days and never hiked at over 10,000 feet. Read...

French Polynesia beach with palm tree

Hey Reader! If you guessed that we went back to French Polynesia in our last email, then you were correct!! We don't often go back to the same country multiple times, only because there are so many other great places to visit! But when I saw a flight deal to French Polynesia (which is the beautiful Bora Bora, Moorea, Tahiti and more) for $350, I had to jump on it! We absolutely loved French Polynesia the first time we visited! The water is to die for, the people are amazing and the food was...

We just booked a trip back to one of our favorite places we've ever visited! We often don't go back to the same destination twice, just because there's so many other cool places to visit. But we're so excited for this one! We'll give you a few clues to see if you can guess before we share more details in the next email. This destination has multiple islands so we're excited to visit some more that we missed the first time. It's been a few years since we've visited this destination This...
